The wind blew softly through the trees, the sun beamed on our faces, as it began to set behind the mountain. Birds chirped softly, and although the leaves were beginning to fall off the trees, there was a hint of summer still in the air. Although not alone, Josh and Cassie looked at each other as if they were the only ones within an 100-mile radius. Back in October 2017, I had the PRIVILEGE of shooting Josh and Cassie’s engagement photos, on a beautiful mountain called The Pinnacle, not far from Lancaster City.
I may be a little partial, because Josh is my oldest brother, but this was one of my favorite engagement sessions I have ever shot! I was ecstatic when the happy couple got engaged this past summer, but even more excited when they asked me to shoot their engagement photos. And I am beyond excited for June 22, where I will get to stand alongside of Cassie as she says “I do” to my oldest brother!
This beautiful love story began several years ago, at Millersville, University. I believe it began on the frisbee field, where both of these athletic individuals spent a lot of their college free time playing Ultimate. Cassie could write this love story much better than me, but I will do my best to capture the highlights. When I met Cassie, I knew she was the perfect addition to our family, and knew her and Josh would be better together. Their mutual love of frisbee, board games, and family, are just a few of the many things that bring these two together. I may be the only one, but after a few years of dating, I was getting eager for them to announce their engagement. Finally, last summer, Josh popped the question while the couple were camping, another favorite pastime for them. Now it is only 131 days until their big day! Here are just a few favorites from their fall engagement session. Cassie and Josh, keep shining Christ’s love to all you meet! He has big plans for you both, and I am so excited to see how he is going to use you better together!
