Happy 2024 friends! It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone. The past few years, I haven’t been into setting new years resolutions. Instead, I enjoy taking some time to reflect on the past year and figuring out what it is I want to focus on for the coming year…
This past year was special and different for me, as I became a mom for the first time. Prior to having Oliver, I was unsure of what the work year would look like for me, since I would be taking maternity leave all summer. But even though I took off three months from photography, I feel like 2023 was full of a variety of opportunities and growth.
In addition to the weddings and sessions I had booked with my own clients, I had the amazing opportunity to second-shoot for some super talented photographers. In addition to second shooting for Hannah Balta Photography and Rebecca Loomis Photography, who I have worked with in the past, I had the opportunity to second shoot for Hannah Zel Photography, Megan is Imaging, and Bridget Caitlin.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to assist Hannah Balta Photography with her content day, and I got to be a part of a Japanese inspired luxury picnic organized by My Bliss Events. Not to mention, I was able to serve several maternity couples, seniors, families, and engaged couples.
I’m so grateful to all of my clients and fellow photographers who have trusted me with capturing such special moments. It’s something I do not take lightly. I’m so excited for 2024, and all the amazing couples who are getting married! But for now, I’m going to cozy up on the couch with my boys and enjoy some much-needed time off from behind the camera. Best part of working with you is making myself and my husband feel at ease. It’s never easy getting your picture taken and being the center of attention but you made it feel so easy and free. We had an awesome time working with you for our wedding and an even better time for our family shoot with our baby.

Liz is truly special. She is very patient (especially with our very wild and adventurous 3 year old). She manages to capture our vision with every photo she takes and ensures that our memories will be cherished forever.
