A few weeks ago, I had the amazing opportunity to take maternity photos for the cutest pregnant lady in the world! Well, since Abby is my older sister, I may be a little biased. But for real, is she not the cutest thing ever?! Josh and Abby and their adorable son Elijah-my nephew-live in a beautiful area of PA. I took these photos in their backyard!! Like, what the heck, actual goals! Josh and Abby, you guys are champs! Not only did you embrace the cold, windy day for photos, but you also dressed up! I thought I was going to fall over when my brother-in-law came down the steps in a button-down shirt and khakis! Seriously made my day Josh!
Maternity sessions are one of my favorite sessions to shoot. Josh and Abby, like so many couples, have experienced the loss of children due to miscarriages. I daily praise the Lord that Abby is over 30 weeks pregnant with a healthy, baby girl! I know it has not been an easy journey for them, but one thing that has been constant is their joy and faithfulness in the Lord. My sister Abby is the most joyful person I know! Seriously, she could be going through a crisis and you would have no idea, because she is so selfless and joyful. Thank you Abby for not only being an amazing older sister, but also for modeling what it is to be a godly wife and mom. I hope I’m half as good of a wife and mom one day as you are!
And lookout world. If you thought I was obsessed with my nephew when he was born, wait until my niece is born! I can not wait to meet this sweet girl! She is probably the most loved little girl out there, and she is still in the womb. My prayer sweet girl, is that you would grow up to love the Lord with your whole heart! I am beyond thankful for the privilege of being Aunt Lizzy to some of the cutest kids ever! Enjoy some of my favorite photos of the Rice family!
