Hi everyone! If you are new on here, welcome! And if you are a regular, welcome back! I love blog posts, as they are an opportunity to display the best photos from a gallery, as well as share a little bit about the clients. This blog post is a particularly exciting one because of the history that surrounds it. Growing up, I attended a church called Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. It is very different from our current church, Awaken Church, in that it is a pretty large church! We always had two services, each of which had hundreds of people. But despite growing up in a large church, I got close to a lot of people. And one couple I grew close to, are Ron and Sharon Becker. Ron and Sharon have been attending Cedar Crest for years. Ron played the organ at my parents wedding, 31 years ago. And two years ago, Ron played the organ at our wedding. While I was in college, I had the privilege of serving with Ron and Sharon in the young toddlers nursery. I always looked up to them so much, and they encouraged me and prayed for me for much of my college years!
When Eric and I moved up to NY, Sharon informed me that her daughter lived in NY. At the time, I did not think much of it, as NY is a very large state. But I soon realized, that her family lived only 10 minutes from us! So when Hannah reached out about photos, I was so excited as I realized the mutual connection. This past spring, I had the opportunity to meet up with Hannah and Brett, her fiance, for their engagement session! Check out the blog post if you missed it!
Fast forward to October 2, when these two became husband and wife! They had the most perfect fall day for a wedding, and it was actually quite warm for October. Hannah and Brett, thank you for entrusting me to capture your wedding day! Eric and I are praying for you both as you begin this new journey of husband and wife in Virginia!
