Happy Tuesday friends! And happy February! Is anyone else so glad we made it through January? This past weekend, my husband and I had the opportunity to be a part of a marriage conference held by the district. It was such a wonderful time away, and a neat time to deepen relationships and make new friends! I love traveling, but I also enjoy coming home and getting back into the swing of life.
One of my favorite parts of being a pastor’s wife is getting to meet new people! Eric and I have had the pleasure of getting to know Jonathan and Ashley this past year. They are from Virginia, but have been traveling back and forth from VA to NY for Jonathan’s job. They have been married for ten years, and are still as in love as ever. Jonathan and Ashley are some of the kindest and most genuine people I know! They both always have a smile on their face, and automatically make people feel welcome.
When they mentioned to me that they were looking to have pictures done, I was so excited! I was even more excited when they stated that they wanted winter pictures! Now, maybe it’s because they are from the south, but most people have zero interest in getting pictures done in the cold. But, as a photographer, it is one of my favorite times to shoot, as the light is so pretty, and golden hour seems extra golden. Jonathan and Ashley, you were rockstars, especially considering the windchill was in the single digits. So, without further ado, enjoy some of my favorite photos of Jonathan and Ashley’s session in Saratoga Springs, New York!
