A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Robert and Becky at Thatcher Park for their dreamy engagement session! Honestly, Thatcher Park has been one of my favorite places to shoot this fall. The gorgeous views, fall foliage, and the mountain light make it a perfect place for weddings and photography. I love how you can shoot in the same place more than once, but each session looks different! When we first moved here, our friends Wil and Victoria introduced us to Thatcher Park and I was instantly in love! I could not get over the views, which were only 30 minutes from our house and the best part is, you do not have to hike for the views! Additionally, Thatcher Park has a pretty awesome frisbee golf course, which is one of our favorite outdoor dates when the weather is nice. Thankfully, we have not lost any frisbees on the course yet, although with my frisbee throwing skills, I am surprised.
We have had the pleasure of knowing Robert for the past few years. Shortly after we moved to NY, Robert started coming to our church. After getting to know Robert, we heard so much about his girlfriend Becky. At the time, they were dating long distance, as Becky lived in Indiana with her parents. A few months ago, Robert popped the question while Becky was visiting NY! Additionally, she was able to move here in August. They are planning their wedding for August of 2022, and I am so excited! I was thrilled when they asked me to not only shoot their engagement session, but book them for their upcoming summer wedding!
Robert and Becky, we love you guys, and are praying for you as you prepare to become husband and wife. I can not wait to shoot your wedding in August, but in the meantime, enjoy some magical shots from your engagement session!
