Back when I was in college and living in PA, I served in the young toddler nursery at my church. I always loved doing this as it gave me my fill of kids for a short period of time! I also enjoyed it for the people I got to know who served alongside me. Sharon and Ron quickly became mentors and people I could share my heart with on a Sunday morning. Sharon and Ron have been married for a very long time, and they have also served in the church a very long time. I served in nursery with them for a year or two, and it was a very sweet time to connect with such a godly couple.
Fast forward a few years, and Ron played the organ at our wedding! Fast forward another year, and we realized I lived 10 minutes away from their daughter Melisa. Thanks to the connection with Sharon and Ron, I heard that Melisa’s daughter Hannah was getting married. Hannah and Brett recently got engaged and will be getting married in NY. After the wedding, they will be moving down to Virginia where Brett is from.
