Happy almost August friends! It’s hard to believe how fast summer is flying! I know that summer always goes by so much faster than winter, but in the midst of it, I tend to be in denial about how fast time really flies. While I feel like fall is still so far away, I’m in the midst of getting all the last minute details together for all my fall weddings and fall couples. Fall might be my favorite season, I just wish summer came again after fall instead of winter.
Anyway, this has been a busy summer of lots of shoots, weddings, and taking care of my toddler. Check out my most recent June wedding at the Altamont Fairgrounds here. A few months ago, I had the amazing pleasure of meeting Kyle and Sarah up in Lake George for their Engagement Session. Kyle and Sarah are one of my couples who are getting married this September. I remember immediately hitting it off with them when we met on Facetime for their client meeting. They live in PA, not too far from where I grew up. Sarah is a PA for St. Luke’s Hospital. Fun fact, I went to St. Luke’s School of Nursing, which is one of the oldest nursing school diploma programs left in the country. I then worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA for about 6 months before moving to Upstate, NY.
Kyle works for county waste, and while I can’t totally explain what he actually does, he loves what he does and is very good at it He was in the midst of a step challenge with work, so he was happy to walk all over Lake George getting his step count up. Kyle and Sarah both enjoy being outside, and spend lots of time hiking and being outside with their German Shepherd. They met in college, and Kyle popped the question last summer while they were hiking up in Acadia. As most real life relationships go, they had an argument about getting lost prior to Kyle popping the question. Thankfully, Sarah still said yes!
I had so much fun exploring Million Dollar Beach and Lake George with Kyle and Sarah! They are some of the kindest people, and I could hang out with them for hours without even realizing how much time has past. I am SO looking forward to capturing their wedding this September at The Cannery! Kyle and Sarah, thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing some special photos, and for asking me to capture your wedding!
