Happy June friends! So far, it’s been a busy season of weddings, and a variety of portrait sessions!
Back in May, I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting for the ever talented Rebecca Loomis Photography. If you have been following me for any period of time, you know that we have worked together many times before, and we also are great friends! Check out my blog post from a wedding I shot with Becca when I was 36 weeks pregnant. Becca is getting married this November, and I’m SO excited to celebrate alongside her as a bridesmaid.
When she asked me to second shoot at The Rosemary at Spano Lake, I was so excited. I had visited the venue during an open house, but I had never shot a wedding their before. Dan and Jackie, who own the venue, are some of the kindest and hard-working people you will ever meet. They have gone above and beyond to make their Cooperstown venue picture perfect, and wholeheartedly serve all of their clients!
Despite the cold and the rain on this Friday in May, it was perfect! Kayla and Conor are SO thoughtful, kind, and fun. Their wedding day was the perfect blend of thought-out details, emotional moments, and a party to remember. They did not even mind that it rained a lot of the day, and were so beyond excited to become husband and wife.
While I typically find the first look, private vows, or the ceremony to be my favorite part of the day, this wedding was different. The bride and groom had a pizza buffet, with a variety of wood-fired pizzas. It was the perfect comfort food on their chilly and rainy wedding day.
Becca, thank you for the opportunity to work alongside you to serve Conor and Kayla. Here are just a few of my favorites from their wedding day!
