Duanesburg, NY Wedding | Tom & Sam Collins

Happy September friends! It’s hard to believe that September is almost over. This summer has FLOWN by between shooting lots of weddings and other sessions, vacation, taking care of my 15-month old son, and being pregnant. It has been such a delight to serve a variety of different clients these past few months!

Back in August, I had the pleasure of being a part of Sam and Tom’s wedding! While Sam and Tom live in Saranac Lake [check out their Adirondack Engagement Session here], they wanted to become husband and wife on the property where Sam grew up. Sam’s parents have a stunning property in Duanesburg that has sunflower fields, a flower garden, a pond, and so much more. It was the perfect place for them to invite all of their family and friends, and there was no shortage of iconic places to take pictures.

From the beginning of the day, you could immediately tell how loved Sam and Tom are, not only by their family, but also by their friends. The bridal party was the ultimate hype squad, and were so willing to help me and the other vendors with anything we needed throughout the day. Additionally, you could tell how in love Sam and Tom were with each other. Tom’s reaction during their first look was probably my favorite part of the day! He could not get over how beautiful his bride was, and the photos reflect that. More tears were shed during their private vows, which they shared in front of their family and bridal party.

Sam and Tom, thank you so much for inviting me to be such a special part of your wedding day! I am so excited for you both as you begin this new season of marriage. Looking forward to sending you the full gallery! But in the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite photos from your perfect day!
