What is something you have prayed and wished for as long as you can remember? The thing you dreamt about as a kid? The thing you couldn’t envision life without?
For me, that was a husband. I never dated a lot in high school or college, and started to believe that I would be one of the few in life who never gets married..until I met Eric.
While it wasn’t love at first sight, we quickly fell in love and got married. While married life is not always easy, it is better than I ever imagined, and I am so grateful that the Lord blessed me with such a godly man.
Our love story and marriage is one of the reasons why I love being a photographer so much. It’s so special to get to know people who have fallen in love, and want to document their big day. It is also so special to continue to capture memories of babies and anniversaries.
So when Rebecca reached out about scheduling an anniversary session with her husband Josiah, I couldn’t wait to say yes! Rebecca and Joe met when they were children, and have been married for 5 years. Like many others, they haven’t had professional photos taken since their wedding, and figured five years of marriage is worth celebrating!
Rebecca is a pianist, and her husband is a welder. Together, they make the perfect team, and their personalities compliment each other so well! If I hadn’t known they were celebrating five years of marriage, I would’ve thought that they were newlyweds!
