Happy May friends! It is hard to believe that we are another month into 2021! Based on the weather today here in upstate NY, you would never guess it is May! I’m pretty sure April was warmer then today! That being said, I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged anything. As many of you know, less than two months ago, I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Shortly after my diagnosis, I had surgery to remove they thyroid and surrounding lymph nodes (since the cancer was found in the lymph nodes). After a long surgery, with some complications, we are grateful to report that they got all of the cancer! We are so grateful to the Lord for sustaining us in this season.
As a result, everything else in life has fallen on the back-burner. But, I am so excited for all the weddings and sessions booked for 2021! In just a few weeks, we will be having our mini-sessions at Central Park in Schenectady, NY. We still have a few spots left if you’re interested!
In the meantime, enjoy this blog post of some of the cutest kids I know! The Filippo family has become near and dear to our hearts since we moved to upstate NY. Their mother Leslie has done a phenomenal job of homeschooling them the past year (as a result of the pandemic). During the midst of quarantine, one thing she was really trying to teach the kids was to be kind. So, after creating these t-shirts, she reached out to schedule a family session.
