Trexler Preserve Portrait Session

Happy Friday friends! And should I say, happy fall. Today is the first day it has actually felt like fall here in PA. And I am spending it laying in bed all day. I had the joyous opportunity to get my wisdom teeth out yesterday morning. Thankfully I have wonderful parents who have taken such good care of me. I remember nothing upon waking up from the anesthesia. Thankfully, my recovery is seeming to be a quick one. I have next to no pain and zero swelling, praise the Lord. But this much needed rest time has given me the opportunity to cull wedding photos, binge-watch the Shooting and Editing course 2.0, and work on Megan’s gallery.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to do a portrait session for my best friend Megan at the Trexler Game Preserve. This was a location I accidentally found when I went running one night. I actually got lost and it was really scary. So when I told Megan I had this awesome location I wanted to try, she was all for it. Megan, all I can say is, you rocked this session! I know inwardly you were probably rolling your eyes when I told you over and over again to “giggle over your shoulder.” But you graciously did it anyway because you trusted me! Your trust in me just goes to show how loyal of a friend you are, and I am so blessed to have you in my life!

Megan is a superhero. Right now, she is working as a nanny and is working on raising support to be a full-time missionary with Push the Rock. If you feel so led, go online to https://pushtherock.org/ and support her. Push the Rock is an incredible ministry that really impacted my life when I was growing up. I know God is going to use Megan in mighty ways to impact the lives of others through the ministry of Push the Rock. Megan, you are one of the most joyful people I know. Keep on joyfully serving others, and I know the Lord will continue to bless you!
