Hearts pounding. His hand squeezing hers. Deep breaths inhaled and exhaled. These were just a few of things Tyler and Morgan experienced just several minutes before becoming husband and wife.
A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a wedding for two of the kindest people I have ever met! I connected with Morgan and Tyler a few years ago when they reached out stating they were looking for a photographer for their 2024 summer wedding. This past April, we met at Thacher Park for their engagement session and it was absolutely FREEZING.
Fast forward a few months to July and it was HOT! But that did not stop Morgan and Tyler from having the time of their life on their wedding day. I started the day off with Morgan and her girls. Between detail shots, popping some bubbly, and first looks with her family, it was a sweet morning! The rest of the day flew by as I captured Tyler and his groomsmen getting ready, and then we headed to the ceremony where the rest of the day was a blur.
But my favorite part of the day was their first touch. While I always encourage my couples to do a first look, for a variety of reasons, Tyler really wanted to wait to see Morgan until she walked down the aisle. So instead of a first look, they did a first touch. They were still able to talk and hold hands, they just weren’t able to see each other. Their nerves instantly went away as they held hands, sharing about their morning and looking forward to becoming husband and wife within the hour. It was a special moment that I was so grateful to have captured.
Morgan and Tyler, I am beyond honored that you entrusted me with capturing your wedding day! I hope you cherish these photos for years to come! I am so excited to deliver your full gallery, but for now, here are a few of my favorite moments from your wedding day!
