Happy February friends! So it’s been a hot minute since I posted! Between lots of admin work and sickness, it’s been a slower season. But honestly, it’s been nice to have a few months that have felt more chill! 2022 was full of so many blessings, but it was also VERY busy! Long walks in the woods and snuggling on the couch with my boys have been some highlights of February! Although I would be lying if I said I’m not looking forward to daylight savings and warmer weather..
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Josh, Sam, and Natalie at Colgate Lake! It was one of those abnormally warm November days, so we took advantage of it by creating some magic! Colgate Lake is near the Catskills, so the drive to and from was nothing short of spectacular! Additionally, aside from a few people taking advantage of the warmer weather by camping, there was no one around. This allowed for us to roam free and explore what the lake had to offer!
Some of my favorite sessions are a combination of different things! So, when Samantha wanted to bring Natalie along to her and Josh’s Engagement Session, I was SO excited! Natalie is such a bubbly and joyful 8 year old! While Josh and Sam were getting lost in each other’s eyes, Natalie was making us artwork and finding fish in the lake. Her energy and creativity is the kind you wish you could bottle up and sell to others! There’s nothing quite like seeing life through the eyes of a child!
Anyway, Josh and Sam rocked their Engagement Session, and I am so excited for them as they tie the knot in 2023!
