Happy Tuesday friends! And happy March! I do not know about you, but I get a glimmer of hope that spring is coming once we reach March! I know for those of us who live in upstate, NY, we usually get snow in March, but with daylight savings in a few weeks, it gives me hope that warmer weather will be here before we know it!
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to drive out to Rochester, NY for a styled shoot! Since re-branding and moving my photography business up to NY in 2019, I have not had the opportunity to be a part of styled shoots (thanks COVID). But when I saw that Courtney Taylor Photography was hosting a styled shoot, I just had to be a part of it!
So on a snowy, and FREEZING Saturday afternoon, me and several other photographers got together to create some magic! We started off at a frozen pond with Matt and Shannon who modeled for us. Matt and Shannon are tying the knot this year. They are SO in love and just naturals behind the camera! Shannon is also a small business owner, with her wood burning business. After a magical couples session at the pond, we headed out to a field to capture some portraits of the gorgeous Katie. After we could no longer feel our fingers and toes, we headed to Jitters for a warm cup of coffee! Despite the cold, it was a wonderful day to create some magic and connect with other photographers!
