Last Sunday evening, I had the pleasure of shooting engagement photos for Lindsay and Steve. We had their session at Galas Your Style at Greystone Farm. One year from today, October 26, 2019, these two will say “I do” at this exact location. I am beyond excited that these two have entrusted me with such a big part of their wedding day! This is the first time I have shot engagement photos at the same location of the wedding venue. It definitely will not be my last! Not only does it allow the couple to get familiar with the photographer at their venue, but it also allows the photographer to get comfortable with the venue. One of my favorite parts about engagement sessions is getting to know the couple.
Lindsay and Steve, from the moment I met you, I knew we would get along. Not only are you both super photogenic, your natural joy and love for each other is contagious! It was FREEZING this past Sunday, and not once did either of them complain! Even though I asked them to do ridiculous things like walk through the mud, giggle kiss, and “do that one more time”, I did not hear one grumble or mumble from either of them. Lindsay and Steve, you two ROCKED your session, and I am so excited to take photos of you on your wedding day a year from now!
Also, shout out to Diana from Galas Your Style. Not only did she give me a tour of the venue, but she even allowed us to seek refuge inside halfway through the session so we could warm up!
